Seaside B&B

"The dreamer and designer in me wants to quit my job, move to Sorrento and jump in to restore this old hotel to its former glory.

Beautiful seaside European colors and muted tones of the cliffs in the background. 

I imagine wine and cocktails with friends overlooking the sea around the fire pit, and cool crisp sea air whipping in. And the heart expectation of long awaited friends and guests walking through those red gates.

Sorrento, Italy is a beautiful seaside town located on a cliff. Known for its sprawling lemon groves and limoncello! This city is a place of daydreams for me. Little shops and cafe's with lemon groves and a beautiful little city center where the residents meet up after work for a drink, a laugh and a stroll before heading home to have dinner with their families. We all need more of that in our lives.

This painting has fine brush work and exacting details on the gate and structures and looser pallet work on the ocean and stucco work of the building giving this painting plenty of texture."- Archie
