"I took this picture in one of the most famous squares in Rome Piazza della Rotonda and added vibrant teal and transparent yellows to create movement and life to celebrate one of the most amazing cities on Earth.
Right behind me stands one of the most iconic and most well preserved buildings in Rome dating back 2000 years, the Pantheon. But this Obelisk and the colorful houses behind it struck me as I was leaving the Pantheon.
The story is that this Obelisk was brought back as a trophy to the Roman people that they had conquered and defeated Egypt and was made into a fountain connected to the original Roman Aqueducts and still runs today." -Archie
